It was a weekend of mixed fortunes for the club as 2 wins for the 1st XI saw them maintain their chances of promotion but 2 defeats for the 2nd XI means that they are still in with a chance of being relegated. The 1sts defeated Templepatrick by 65 runs on Saturday with Gareth Alexander scoring 65 and they then beat Academy by 97 runs on Sunday with Chris Keenan scoring 50 and Jonathan King and Paul Ramsay getting 4 wickets each. The 2nds lost a very tight game in the last over at Cregagh on Saturday and were beaten by Saintfield at home on Sunday.
